Alex Leavitt has been training martial arts since he was 5 years old in San Pedro, CA. He received his black belt in Tang Soo Do at the age of 15 before switching his focus to wrestling during his freshman year of high school. He continued training at ASU with Jeff Funicello and transitioned into MMA with an Olympic style wrestling focus. Under Jeff, he had two MMA fights and won both before moving back to LA after college. He was soon introduced to Robot Fight & Fitness and began training BJJ under Tim Peterson and Muay Thai under David Huerta. Since joining Robot, he holds a 7-0 Muay Thai record and a 1-0 MMA record. Alex currently teaches the wrestling and MMA classes at Robot.

The legendary Frank Trigg and Vladimir Matyushenko head up the MMA and submission grappling program with current fighters Jamie Yager and Kengo Ura filling out the roster.

Coach Blair Green — He began his wrestling career at Victor Valley High School where he was part of the California State Championship team, and was an individual placer and State Champion. Green went on to earn the distinction of 1st Team HS All-American. He wrestled at the University of Oklahoma and help create Lindenwood University’s wrestling program, where he was an All-American. Blair is currently the Director of Grappling for USA Wrestling in California. He is a member of the Associated styles committee Nationally and works closely with the international governing body United World Wrestling.
