Fascial Stretch Therapy (or FST), a type of stretching that targets not only the muscles, but the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and joints. FST also targets the entire joint and joint capsule, using traction to remove restrictions from movement and to stimulate lubrication.

There are five major styles of Tai Chi: Chen, Yang, Wu/Hao, Wu, and Sun. Ying Jow Pai offers instruction in the Wu style. The main form consists of 108 movements practiced in a slow, relaxed fashion.

Riverside Tai Chi teaches all three of the internal Chinese Kung Fu styles. Tai Chi, Hsing-I and Bagua to men and women and is one of the only schools that teaches the internal styles to kids.

The class format consists of a warm up, ”breath work” which is gentle breathing combined with movement and finally instruction and practice of simple forms. During the training the participant will learn a series of basic fundamental movements as well as a short to medium length series of pre-arranged choreographed movements. Small group only, maximum 5 participants. All skill levels and ages welcome.
