  • Whole Body Gyrotonic — The Gyrotonic Method uses specialized equipment to take your body into gentle spiraling and twisting movements that we believe you will absolutely love. Group Classes:

  • Community level 2 - group reformer — These classes are up to 6 people and open to anyone approved for Level 2 or higher;

  • Community level 2 - group reformer remix — A reformer based class that incorporates an ever-changing variety of props, mat work, and equipment;

  • Jump Board Class — Jump like a kid again in this fun and energizing group reformer class! The Jump Board is a padded plate that replaces the foot bar on the reformer and provides an excellent non-weight bearing method to increase heart rate and burn some serious calories. The Jump Board workout is a great alternative to running as it is much easier on the joints;
  • Level 1 Group Reformer class offers an encouraging environment to continue to learn and deepen in the Pilates fundamental repertoire. It is an excellent step in transitioning from Pilates privates or semi-privates to a group setting. Taught at a slower pace to ensure each client learns to execute the movements safely and efficiently with focused attention on reviewing equipment set up;

  • Jennifer Rashidi — She is a certified Pilates instructor through Archer Pilates (PSC).   • Danica Dias — While attended college at UCLA she explored a wide range of career and personal interests ranging from Dance, Acting, Sociology, Communications and eventually received her B.A. in Political Science. She joined an intensive classical Pilates teacher training certification from a 2nd generation Master Pilates Instructor and her life has been changed for the better ever since;
  • Tammy Jackson — She started her fitness background in her early years as a swimmer, then in 1999 she found a love for yoga and has been teaching it ever since.   • Private Sessions: We recommend Private Sessions for the Pilates Beginner. We are available for one-on-one sessions 7 days a week. These sessions are the most ideal for people who want to advance their Pilates Training, or if they have any physical limitations or injuries that would prohibit their ability to join a group.

  2. Jumpboard Classes: Super charge your workout with this cardio-jumpboard class on the Reformer. Reap the benefits of a cardio-based workout while doing Pilates lying down! This is an intermediate/advanced class! Requires a pre-requisite of 10 group reformer classes or instructor approval. Book a Jumpboard Class;
  3. Pre-Post Natal Pilates: Prior experience required before joining a group class. Private Sessions are recommended. Lynne DeMarco, the owner, is certified in Pre-Post Natal Pilates. All other instructors are certified and/or experienced working with pregnant clients, and are able to modify the workout appropriately for the pregnant client. Pilates is great for pregnancy, before and after your birth. Pilates develops your overall muscle strength and flexibility. It helps you to relax and teaches you to breathe deeply; skills that will help you before, during, and after delivery. By doing Pilates when your pregnant you will increase circulation to the fetus, as well as strengthening the muscles needed to give birth.
  4. Barre Classes:
  • Barre-Combo A unique blend of Modern Barre, Pilates Reformer, Mat Work and other Small Equipment. This class incorporates intense Abdominal and Gluteal work both at the Barre and on the Mat. It utilizes safe and effective Pilates Reformer techniques, and includes some cardio-based exercises at the Barre, and on the Reformer-Jumpboard;
  • Floor Barre-Combo This class is a combination of Strength and Stretching Exercises done on the Pilates Mat, and on the Modern Barre. It will incorporate small equipment, while focusing on building core strength and lengthening the muscles with no impact on the joints. It is a very challenging but fun workout! All levels welcome;
  • Classical Ballet Barre This traditional ballet class offers the chance to learn classical technique at the barre. Ballet Barre increases strength, flexibility, posture, balance and coordination.

  • Ana Debasa — She became certified in 1999 at Perfectly Fit, a Classical Pilates Studio. She worked at Perfectly Fit for a few years before coming to Mind-Body Fitness Pilates Studio in 2001, and has worked here ever since;
  • Abigail Eiland — Abigail was certified through Pilates Sports Center, Encino CA. in 2011, studying both Classical and West Coast Style Pilates;
  • Amanda Killian — She received her Pilates Teacher Training Certification August, 2002 from Perfectly Fit in La Canada, CA.  Her movement background includes Ballet, Classical Indian Dance, Korean Dance, Tap, Tai Chi and Ariel Circus work;
  • Genevieve Lee — She received her certification from Body Arts and Science International (BASI), in February 2012. As a former dancer and yogini, Genevieve developed a keen eye for alignment and a solid understanding of movement;
  • Natalie Frost — She started gymnastics and dance at the age of six and has always felt the need to be active and connected to her body. She became an AFAA certified Personal Trainer in 2010;
  • Sean Colley — He started to explore yoga and Pilates to help remedy his pain. Sean was introduced to the classical Pilates method and began attending classes. Sean made the decision to enroll in Whole Body Method's Pilates Instructor Program;
  • Liam — He began as a dancer in The Australian Ballet and worked his way to London, Off-Broadway and Broadway in dance companies and Musical Theatre. He is a PMA certified Classical Pilates instructor/ Liam was fully certified at Whole Body Method in 2007 by Nigel Sampson, Director;

  • Pilates Mat Classes —  Expect different approaches to the matwork depending on what teacher is leading the class. Pilates props (we provide them) may or may not be used. Pilates fusion classes with stress reducing energy work based on QI Gong and Somatics;

  • VP (Vintage Pilates) classes are group lessons, done the way Joe Pilates taught them. They are small classes (up to four people) where practitioners work on their own, individualized series of exercises, under the guidance of a Vintage Pilates instructor;

  • Suzanne Packer — She has been teaching Pilates for over 5 years and is a graduate of Jay Grimes’ program, THE WORK;
  • Barbara Stamis — She discovered Pilates in 2001 when, through the Pilates Method, she began recovering from her dance injuries. Barbara has been teaching Pilates since 2002, and also studies yoga, movement, and the miraculous workings of the human form.
