Hans Pirman — Certified in strongman training, founder of Global Strongman Gym. Competes in 2011: New Jersey Strongest Man Masters Division 2nd place, NAS Bad Ass Masters Heavy Division 1st place. Competes in 2012: Viking Fest Masters Division 2nd place, BIGG DOGG STRONG (Atlantic City, NJ) Masters Division 3rd place. Competes in 2013: Viking Fest Masters Division 2nd place, BIGG DOGG Winter Challenge (NJ) Masters Division 3rd place, Global Strongman Gym featured in Muscle and Fitness and Men’s Fitness.
Paulie Steinman — SBWC is a powerlifting and weightlifting gym in the heart of South Brooklyn, NY. In 2014, SBWC became a USA Powerlifting Platinum Regional Training Center. Paulie is the head coach of the SBWC powerlifting team, earning a 1st Place Best Co-Ed Raw Team award at the USAPL Northeastern USA Regional Powerlifting Championships in 2012, at the USAPL American Open in 2013, and at the USAPL NJ State Open Championships in 2014. He served on the coaching staff of the SSPT team at the 2014 Raw Nationals. Paulie is also a competitive powerlifter;
Experienced athletes (who have attended coached Powerlifting sessions regularly for more than 6 months) may begin any Monday. You don’t need to be a master, but you should be familiar with the lifts and have a firm grasp of the basics (e.g. squatting, deadlifting).
Powerlifting Club sessions are dedicated coaching hours for our Murder of Crows Powerlifting Club team members. Training with the club is geared towards attending USAPL meets at the state, regional, and / or national level.

Each class includes guided warm-up, the programmed workout, which will focus on improving the three competition movements, and accessory strength work. This class is ideal for athletes with 6+ months’ experience.
