You will:

  • Deepen your understanding and appreciation of Aikido;
  • Travel with Suzuki Sensei to various semianrs. Accompanying Suzuki Sensei to seminars around the world will give you the opportunity to train with people of different affiliations and styles;
  • Accelerate your progress. Direct training with Suzuki Sensei and other top, international instructors will bring out your full potential;
  • Become a skilled instructor. As an Uchi Deshi, you will study under Suzuki Sensei as a “Teaching Apprentice”, learning various teaching techniques and honing your skills for teaching both youth classes and adult classes;
  • Master the intricacies and demands of Dojo Business Management. As an Uchi Deshi, you will get hands-on experience in all aspects of running a full-time, professional dojo. All Uchi Deshi will receive training in the day-to-day operations. Then, you’ll be asked to choose a “focus area”, such as Accounting & Bookkeeping, Web Design, Marketing, etc., for more in-depth training;
  • Attain official certification as an AKI USA Instructor. Official AKI USA teaching certification as Assistant Instructor (Fukushidoin) and Instructor (Shidoin) is available for those who have completed the Teacher Training Certification Program and meet the qualifications.

Programs:

  • CrossFit — our ability to scale the CrossFit workout to your individual needs and abilities means that anyone, at any skill level, can jump into a class and pick up the movements, the concepts, and the intensity. We also focus on form before intensity, thus decreasing injury potential and improving enjoyment of the overall programming;
  • Turbo Training (TT) classes are exclusive to CrossFit Los Feliz. They are high-energy, 60-minute classes that blend overall body functional movements with high-volume interval weight training. TT blends dynamic sports movements with dumbbell, kettlebell and gymnastics movements into a metabolic conditioning program;
  • Strength Training — this class is recommended to those who seek injury-free training at any athletic level, making everyday tasks much easier;
