The dojo instructors continue to train under Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei, 8th dan — a direct disciple of Morihei Ueshiba (Aikido’s founder), and the United States Aikido Federation’s master instructors (Shihan).
The chief instructor is Kazuho Nishida — he is a certified Aikido instructor (Shidoin) through the USAF and Aikikai Foundation in Japan. He holds a 6th degree black belt and is a certified instructor in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido, collectively studying both arts for the last 40 year.

Barbell Brigade offers the best atmosphere and equipment for any powerlifting, Olympic lifting, body building, recreational weightlifting or general fitness. It has also become the best alternative to CrossFit for many of our members who enjoy our open-gym format and longer hours of operation.
Personal Training — The Stronghold offers personal training tailored to the interests of the participant. Consider personal training if you would like to work with a climbing instructor one-on-one to refine your safety-related skills (in belaying, rappelling, cleaning a sport route, etc.) or get individualized pointers on improving your climbing technique;
