Class Levels:

  • Level 1 — Our Beginner classes are powerful, learning experiences in which you will literally re-discover your body, how it works, and what it can do. Level 1 are designed to give you the time and support to understand the proper alignment of yoga asanas (postures) and breathing technique;
  • Level 1-2 — This classes build on the fundamental postures introduced in Level 1 through creative and challenging sequences. Level 1-2 classes are also ideal for learning and practicing the basics of more challenging postures like arm balances, inversions, safely and effectively;
  • Level 2 — Classes are designed to expand on your strength, stamina and flexibility as you master advanced postures like inversions, arm balances, and backbends, as well as demanding sequences. Also, expect teacher to refer to postures in Sanskrit more frequently;
  • Level 2-3 — Classes presume students are familiar with intermediate yoga postures (including inversions and backbends). In these classes you will use your knowledge of postures and breathing to practice exciting, physically demanding and challenging sequences and variations. The pace of these classes is faster, you will go deeper, and your teacher will help you achieve breakthroughs in your practice and your self-awareness. We recommend you have a year of solid yoga under your mat before you join 2-3 classes;
  • Level 3 — Not for the faint of heart, Level 3 classes are geared towards advanced students, teachers and teacher training graduates. Take this class only if you have an excellent degree of fitness. Are you regularly practicing the most difficult poses? Most students at this level already have many years of serious yoga study under their belts.

Pilates Classes:

  • Group Equipment Classes — Participation in a Group Equipment class requires a private Pilates session;
  • Mat Classes — Explore Pilates with our total conditioning mat classes that are included in YogaWorks memberships. Mat classes are a great introduction pilates;

Classes:

  • Group Reformer Level 1 — Level 1 is designed for everyone, whether you may be new to the world of Pilates or even a veteran. In this class you will learn how to work with your machine and be educated on the proper techniques all while seriously challenging your body. We provide beginner to intermediate movement with clear instruction to give you the best Pilates workout in town;
  • Group Reformer Level 1 — This class is for serious devotees that want to get serious results. We push harder, we hold longer and you will be challenged with more resistance, more reps and more advanced movement. Various props are thrown into the mix to keep shocking your body and providing the variety you need to deliver results to keep you feeling and looking incredible;
  • Booty Blast — In this class you get a full body workout but the emphasis is all on your glutes. Every move utilized will focus on sculpting a different section of your booty being sure to give your backside lots of love. We work not only your glute maximus (your prime mover) but also blast your medius and don't forget your minimus;
  • Core Burn — In this class you get a full body workout but the emphasis is all on your core. Every move utilized will focus on shredding a different section of your core being sure to strengthen you from all angles; frontal abs (rectus and transverse), side abs (external & internal obliques), your back and pelvic floor, etc.;
  • Cardio/Jump Board.

Cicuit System

Circuit Pilates combines the postural benefits of traditional Pilates (East Coast style) and a more high-energy, fast-paced cardio workout that offers quick results (West Coast style). The reason for creating this hybrid was that there was no system which incorporated the best of each.

Critical Analysis

The way we ensure that everyone is maximizing and optimizing their workouts, is to do a critical analysis with each client (on request) before they start working out with us. This way we can learn about any particular issues you may have and demonstrate modifications for you to use in class.

Classes & Programs:

  • Cyclelates workout — a new method that combines 20 minutes of spin to burn calories and 35 minutes of Pilates to stretch and strengthen muscles throughout the body to give you that skinny toned look! Designed moves for the abs and arms based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates will be instructed on the reformer, leaving the legs, booty, and cardio burn for the bike. Courses offered include Cyclelates, Cycle Remix, and Pilates Reformer;
  • Cycle Remix — a new method combining the exciting pace of a normal cycle class with music videos and weights. The intention of these new methods is to make working out fun and exciting. Constant stimulation and upbeat music will make the workout fly without being bored or checking the clock. Each Spin bike will come with 2 pound hand weights to guarantee you are toning your upper body as well. Each cycle class is 45 minutes;
  • Open Gym — this program gives clients the opportunity to purchase independent training sessions in addition to their private/semi-private training sessions. Open Gym is available to those advanced beginners, intermediate, and advanced clients;
