  • MetCon:Mobility — We start with some High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to help build strength and boost your metabolism then finish with some yoga for a dynamic cool down;
  • Momentum MetCon — It is good old fashioned hard work using a variety of different tools such as Kettlebells, ViPRs, Sandbags, Battleropes and TRX and Bodyweight Training;
  • Sandbags & Kettlebells — This high-intensity conditioning workout using a combination of Sandbags, Kettlebells, and your own bodyweight, all set to a Tabata timer. The high paced 45 minute workout;
  • Tacfit NYC — It is a high-intensity 40 minute workout focused on mobility and endurance that combines functional strength training with natural body “flows”;
  • Shred — (HIIT) workout with minimal rest periods;
  • Primal Strength.

Programs by type:

  • Our daily after school programs separate players by age and skill and teach intensive lessons in a fun environment. We head indoors to the gym on rain days for the same fun-filled training and game play;
  • Teams: Travel — New York Empire Baseball’s 9U-16U Travel Teams are based in Manhattan. Players train weekly on the field and are welcome every night indoors in live batting practice to hone their skills as often as they choose. Travel Baseball roster sizes are kept intentionally small to maximize playing time for each team’s players, so competition for a spot on any team is high. The core of New York Empire Baseball’s 16U travel team has been together for over 17 seasons, a testament to the culture and performance of the organization and the team;
  • Teams: Club League — New York Empire Baseball’s Club League Teams are for players ages 4-11. While competition at these levels is not as strong nor intense as our travel program, the Rookie, A, AA, and AAA programs maintain a healthy level of competition while focusing on building the skills needed to succeed on- and off-the-field.  Many players progress from this program to Travel Baseball, while others stay in the Club League Program;
  • Position Specific Training — Hitting Instruction (Using the latest research, technology and video analysis, HIT teaches players of all ages how to truly become successful hitters), Pitching Instruction (Using the latest research, technology and video analysis, PITCH teaches players of all ages how to truly become successful and healthy pitchers), Catching Instruction, Baserunning Instruction, Infielding & Outfielding Instruction;
  • Camps (for players between the ages of 4 and 16) — Players are grouped by both age and skill for the best development experience. Players train in groups and can also choose to focus on skills such as pitching or specific positions during the Camps. Camps are available on school holidays and throughout the Summer and are available for half-days, full-days or entire weeks. Camps are both indoors and in Central Park, among other fields around the City;
  • Indoor Baseball Leagues — Featuring a 27 foot high “northern-sky” and real-feel turf, in addition to live pitching (never machines) in all programs and games. Players can sign up individually or as a team (with 4-6 players) and will play a game each week for the entire season – in baseball or softball (slow or modified);

  • Open Gym.

Programs by age:

  • 4-6 years old — Players learn critical skills on the baseball field – and are taught the same mechanics as our older players – in easier to understand methods;
  • 6-11 years old (Single A, AA, AAA) — Players are not just playing baseball. They’re baseball players. They’ll continue to work on the fundamental skills and begin to apply them in game situations;
  • Middle School / High School — Players ages 11 and up are preparing to play higher levels of baseball – while continuing to enjoy more competitive baseball each week. Players learn advanced pitching, hitting, fielding and baserunning skills.
