  • Civilian Instructor Course (CIC) — This program offers the most advanced curriculum of up-to-date techniques and tested implementations. The course has 2 parts: The 1st part covers P1 through P3 material, which includes the history of Krav Maga and its evolution, fundamental instructional skills and lesson development. The 2nd part progresses to P4 and P5 of the curriculum. This includes lesson construction, safety protocols, vulnerable points of the body, extensive attack principals, and advanced defensive skills;
  • Counter Terror — Each workshop is a uniquely tailored scenario incorporating Krav Maga military tactics, techniques, and strategies that are used in the Israeli Special Forces to combat or prevent terrorism. Each workshop is taught by Expert Krav Maga instructors from Israel with combat and training backgrounds in Counter Terror and Military Krav Maga. The Krav Maga Experts Counter Terror workshops incorporate simulated violence, using audio and practical effects;
  • Rape Prevention — This workshop series will focus on self-defense situations at different settings (home, street, college campuses, etc.). Each workshop takes different scenarios as the Krav Maga Experts instructors teach you Krav Maga self-defense techniques that will help you be your defense;
  • Security — The course is designed to provide theoretical, practical and operational skills required to maintain a high level of security. The Krav Maga Experts security courses include a number of main subjects: Hand-to-Hand Combat (Krav Maga), Lectures, Tactical Drills;
  • Law Enforcement — The courses are designed for law enforcement units, special forces and security operatives. The Krav Maga Experts combat training courses include intensive tactical training, which combines realistic scenarios and on-scene solutions to varied situations. Dribbl is a New York-based instructional and recreational basketball program for kids ages 3-14.

Programs:

  • Pre-K & K — 50-minute sessions get kids comfortable on the court with a ball in their hands. PE-style games and pop music keep 'em moving and having a great time while they learn the basics;
  • 1st-3rd grades — 80-minute sessions progress to include more challenging drills, tactical plays, and half-court scrimmages;
  • 4th-7th grades — 80-minute sessions are segmented into 30 minutes of skills and drills, followed by “league” games. Balanced teams play scored, timed games with weekly standings and a play-off at the end of each season.

Instructors:

  • Teddy Frischling — head coach of the boys' varsity basketball team;
  • Charles Stone — He graduated from Connecticut College, where he played four years on the men's basketball team. After finishing up at CC, he spent four years playing professionally in France and Denmark. Charles is currently a physical education teacher at the Dalton School, where he also serves as head coach of the varsity volleyball and softball teams as well as an assistant coach for the boys' basketball team;
  • Tre Vinson — He played four years of Division 1 basketball at Colgate University. Currently, Tre is a coach and teacher at the Saint David's School and an assistant coach for the girls' varsity basketball team at Dalton;
  • Mark Anderson — He has spent the past five years as a teacher and coach, first at the Saint David's School and now at the Dalton School. He is also an assistant coach for the varsity football, wrestling, and track teams at Dalton;
  • Jeff Bradley — Coach Jeff has been a staple at Dribbl for nearly 20 years. He’s a beloved teacher at Merricat’s Castle preschool, easily the most popular head counselor at Dalton Summer Camp, and is a bona fide pied piper;
  • Zach Cohen — A graduate of Horace Mann, Zach currently coaches at the Dalton School and is an administrator at Brant Lake Camp.

  • BSNY Metro Uptown Travel Basketball — Our Metro and Titans youth basketball teams will be formed by September 15th and begin practicing shortly thereafter. Teams will consist of 8-10 players and they will practice 2-3 times per week. Boys will play 2 full court 30 minute games per week;
  • NYC Trojans Downtown Travel Basketball — Our Trojans teams will compete in the Fall / Winter season together. They will be organized in the Fall after an evaluation placement evening. At which point, participants will be assigned to a particular team with 8-10 members. Trojans teams will have a mandatory practice on Saturday evenings. Boys will play 2 full court 30 minute games per week;
  • New York Knicks 3-on-3 Weeknight / Weekend League — Make your own team of 4 or join as a free agent in our weekly 3 on 3 league. Each Saturday afternoon your team will play approximately 4, 10 minute games against different opponents;

  • Mini Ballers Programs — Introduction to basketball class for 4-6 year olds with our staff of expert coaches, using hoops that lower down;

We offer travel basketball teams. Each team will be assigned an experienced coach who will be with them for the entire season, fostering their development as both a team and individual player.   • Walter Gonzalez — the chief instructor at Asahi Aikikai New York since 2008 and currently hold the rank of Yondan, 4th degree black belt in Aikido. He began aikido training in 1990 at the New York Aikikai and have been a student of Yamada Sensei, Shihan 8th Dan for over 20 years. Walter has the privilege to train under Sugano Sensei, Shihan also 8th Dan, and along the way with many other Shihans and He is recognized and certified by the United States Aikido Federation and the Aikikai World Headquarters in Japan;
  • Thomas McNulty — lead instructor. Tom holds the rank of Nidan, 2nd degree black belt in Aikido and has been training over 20 years. Before he walked into the New York Aikikai in 1989, Tom had trained in both Chinese and Japanese martial arts since an early age. Tom was also fortunate to train at a time when both Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan, 8th dan and Seichi Sugano Shihan, 8th Dan, were both teaching at NYA;
  • Wigberto Rivera — instructor. Wigberto began his aikido training in 1992 and joined the New York Aikikai in 1994. Wigberto is part of the teaching staff at both Asahi Aikikai and New York Aikikai, and currently holds the rank of Yondan, 4th degree black belt under the United States Aikido Federation and the Aikikai World Headquarters in Japan. In addition Wigberto has trained in Judo, Wrestling, Combat Sambo and Wing Chun.
