Dribbl is a New York-based instructional and recreational basketball program for kids ages 3-14.

Programs:

  • Pre-K & K — 50-minute sessions get kids comfortable on the court with a ball in their hands. PE-style games and pop music keep 'em moving and having a great time while they learn the basics;
  • 1st-3rd grades — 80-minute sessions progress to include more challenging drills, tactical plays, and half-court scrimmages;
  • 4th-7th grades — 80-minute sessions are segmented into 30 minutes of skills and drills, followed by “league” games. Balanced teams play scored, timed games with weekly standings and a play-off at the end of each season.

Instructors:

  • Jon Stoler — A relatively new addition to the Dribbl Family, Coach Jon has taught physical education at private schools including Rye Country Day, the Brearley School, and most recently the Browning School;
  • Ali Marchese — Coach Ali has quickly become a celebrated head coach in our Pre-K and all girls classes. Coach Ali is currently a physical education teacher at the Brearley School.

Valleyball at HOT Volleyball NYC HOT Volleyball NYC 1 Video

Our volleyball programs are not team oriented; we specialize in building skills and athleticism on an individual basis. We work on the individual needs of the volleyball player in order to make her a better athlete.

Our entire program is focused on skills and mechanically breaking them down so the athlete can achieve control of themselves and the ball. Getting and being in shape is the athlete’s responsibility. Students will get a workout – but our goal is to teach proper mechanics, how to implement each skill, and building on those skills so the athlete can reach the next level. We expect 100% effort and attention, a positive attitude, hard work and complete focus by the athlete.

Although our focus is on individual skills, we do teach the individual everything they need to make a team, play on a team, and become a starter on a team.
