We offer tools towards these such as classes in various styles of Qigong, Tai Chi and Yoga, as well as Energy Medicine and Meditation. Private Energy Therapy Sessions are available.

We also offer private sessions to assist others in their healing path through Energy Medicine, Qigong Energy Therapies, and the Yuen MethodTM. Our Center will host special workshops and guest lectures on health and spiritual development. We also offer music CDs and other healing products, as well as a place to gather for performances and community events.

Teachers:

  • Maryna Allan — BA Dance and Physical Education, MFA Dance, Zhineng Qigong Teacher and creator of BE Body Brain Breath' Fitness. Maryna has taught dance, yoga and fitness classes for almost 30 years and after a series of injuries, shifted her focus to Qigong to heal herself. She received all of her Qigong training in China over the course of 3 years, primarily at the National Medical Qigong Hospital and School and at the Hexianju Center. Maryna moved from The Big Island of Hawaii to Los Angeles in 2008 and has been teaching Qigong in Woodland Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica and Topanga. She continues to teach at the Pierce College Encore Program, but is now based primarily at the 'BE The Change Energy Center';
  • Steve Barker — Steve is the founder of the Neiyanggong.us site having moved to the USA from London after retiring from a 30 year career the Metropolitan Police at Scotland Yard in 2006. He is currently based in Los Angeles and Idyllwild in Southern California. Steve began his studies in Taijiquan in 1998 as a way to cope with stress from his work. Steve then discovered a form of Medical Qigong that seemed to have a pronounced affect on his health, and set off to study Nei Yang Gong Qigong and Taijiquan at the National Medical Qigong Training Facility in Beidaihe in 2006. He became a certified instructor with the centre having passed its Instructor examinations in both Nei Yang Gong and the Yang Style 24 posture Taijiquan form after returning to the school twice a year for intensive training over a three year period.

Class Descriptions:

  • Earth’s Power Yoga Flow Set — Similar to the Ashtanga style, the set stays the same each time. It is a flow style based on the Ashtanga South Indian Vinyasa format. You will sweat a lot and leave feeling refreshed. This set creates a good foundation for all the classes that are at Earth’s Power Yoga;
  • Earth’s Power Yoga Mixed Level — A vigorous Hot Yoga class that is not only a great workout, but tons of fun! Set to music, this class will work you out and make you sweat. It will include yoga transitions and will move a bit faster than other yoga classes. Classes will also have a few challenging and technical yoga postures and the sequence does change a bit with new transitions introduces regularly as well as meditation.
  • Yogascape — Enter the creation of a whole new world of Yoga. Yogascape is an amplified virtual reality with our new surround video room. We call it “Ambient Fitness” Still Hot flowing vigorous Yoga but with an added virtual journey from the beaches of Cabo to the outer limits of space and many other alternating scenes;
  • Vinyasa Flow — A slightly slower paced Hot Yoga class. Still has some flow, but with more emphasis on a slower breathing pattern. A challenging class and a great way to start your day! Intermediate level;
